Agrivoltaïsme : Optimum Tracker
La construction du premier projet d’échelle en agrivoltaïsme vient de commencer près de Montpellier, dans le sud de la France.
Ces trackers perchés à plus de 4m de haut sont destinés à l’optimisation de la croissance de la plante en dessous – qu’il s’agisse de cultures maraichères, arboricoles ou de vignes.
La structure conçue et fabriquée par Optimum Tracker permet de contrôler à chaque instant l’ombrage apporté aux plantes, grâce au pilotage des panneaux photovoltaïques. En apportant de réels bénéfices à l’activité agricole, un système agrivoltaïque répond à la fois aux enjeux de l’agriculture de demain et aux problématiques des filières de productions concernées : viticulture, arboriculture et maraîchage sous-abris.
Réalisé en collaboration avec le développeur français Sun’R, à l’origine du projet, cette centrale unique dans le monde est voué à être déployé à plus grande échelle.

Optimum Tracker’s involvment : agrivoltaism
The construction of the first real scale agrivoltaism project has just started near Montpellier, South of France.
These 4 meters high trackers are designed to optimize the growth of the plants underneath – vegetable and tree crops or vines, while generating electricity.
The structure designed and manufactured by Optimum Tracker allows a perfect control at any time of the shade that plants need. By offering real benefits to the farming activity, agrivoltaism is an answer to both the agriculture of tomorrow and to the issues met by these production sectors (under-shelter vines, vegetable and tree crops).
Achieved in collaboration with French developer Sun’R heading the project, this power plant will be unique in the world and aims to be spread on a large scale.
