Over a decade of agrivoltaic innovation at Optimum Tracker

Since 2014, Optimum Tracker has been investing in research and development to create advanced agrivoltaic tracking solutions that combine solar energy production with agricultural activities.

This vision became a reality in 2017 with the commissioning of Agri-Track® Trees, the world’s first dynamic agrivoltaic installation. This pioneering project marked an important milestone in Optimum Tracker’s development and laid the foundation for a complete portfolio of advanced Agri-PV technologies.

Today, Optimum Tracker offers three solutions designed to adapt to different agricultural activities, crops and project requirements: Agri-Track® One (1P) with a minimum ground clearance of 2.5 m, Agri-Track® Two (2P) with a minimum ground clearance of 1.2 m, and Agri-Track® Trees (1P) with a minimum ground clearance of 4.5 m.

By adapting tracker configurations and ground clearance to agricultural needs, these technologies are designed to support the coexistence of farming activities and renewable energy production while optimizing the use of available land.

Optimum Tracker’s Agri-PV solutions are also backed by Independent Technology Reviews from DNV, reinforcing confidence in their technical reliability, performance and bankability.

More than a decade after beginning its R&D efforts in agrivoltaics, Optimum Tracker continues to develop technologies that support both agricultural productivity and solar energy performance.
