Opti-Sky®: intelligent solar tracking for diffuse light conditions

Optimum Tracker continues to advance solar tracking technology with Opti-Sky®, its patented solution designed to optimize energy production under diffuse light conditions.

Opti-Sky® combines artificial intelligence, predictive analysis and 360° sensors to continuously analyze local sky conditions. Through hemispherical sky mapping and irradiance measurement, the system identifies cloud coverage and predicts short-term cloud movement.

Using this real-time and predictive data, Opti-Sky® intelligently adjusts tracker positioning according to local conditions, helping photovoltaic modules capture more available solar irradiance when direct sunlight is limited.

The technology can deliver up to 2.5% additional energy production per year, excluding potential additional gains from Opti-Backtracking.
